Μελο-ποίηση

Πολύ καιρό τώρα είχα την επιθυμία να ταξιδέψω πάλι πίσω σε παιδικές αναμνήσεις, να θυμηθώ παλιά βιβλία, να ξαναδιαβάσω αγαπημένα ποιήματα, να ρίξω μια κλεφτή ματιά στο δωμάτιο που μεγάλωσα.

Η αφορμή δόθηκε από μια πρόσκληση για εθελοντική συμμετοχή σε μια πρωτοβουλία της Ε.Ε. που περιελάμβανε μεταφράσεις έργων Ελλήνων συγγραφέων, απαγγελίες ποιημάτων, προβολές κ.α.

Ο υπεύθυνος της βιβλιοθήκης ήθελε να δώσει έμφαση στη νεότερη ελληνική λογοτεχνία και μουσική, από τη γενιά του 30 και μετά. Τι ωραία, σκέφτηκα, Ρίτσος, Σεφέρης, Ελύτης και τόσοι άλλοι...

Η πρόταση αρκετά δελεαστική : σταχυολόγηση συμπυκνωμάτων πολιτισμού στο χώρο της μελοποιημένης ποίησης. Πολύ ενδιαφέρον ως είδος, μιας και συνδυάζει λογοτεχνία/ποίηση, μουσική, συνθέτη/τραγουδιστή, με βίντεο δε στο youtube και εικόνα/φόντο.

Μερικές από τις προτάσεις που έκανα και άλλες που βρήκα αξιόλογες ακολουθούν :

Η εκδήλωση έγινε μα παρόλα αυτά, η χρονική διάρκεια αυτού του ταξιδιού παρατάθηκε για αρκετό καιρό ακόμα. Τι προβλήθηκε και τι διαβάστηκε από όλον αυτόν τον λογοτεχνικό μας πλούτο δεν έμαθα ποτέ, μιας και λόγω ασθένειας δεν μπόρεσα να παρευρεθώ, ίσως το μάθω στο τέλος του Σεπτεμβρίου που εικάζεται ότι θα επαναληφθεί η εκδήλωση.

Τι σημασία έχει όμως, αρκεί ο γυρισμός στην Ιθάκη να ναι μακρύς...

Φιλοδοξώ να κάνω αυτή τη δημοσίευση αρχείο τέτοιων όμορφων πολιτιστικών καταχωρήσεων και να προσθέτω περιοδικά, ως σχόλιο, οιαδήποτε παρόμοιας υφής.

Θα εκτιμούσα δεόντως οποιαδήποτε ανάλογο σχόλιο/υπόδειξη από οποιονδήποτε έχει να συνεισφέρει.

Poetry set to music
 

For too long now, I had the desire to travel back to my childhood memories, to remember old books, re-read favourite poems, to take a sneak look at the room I grew up.
 

The opportunity was given by a call for voluntary participation in an EU initiative containing translations of works of Greek writers, poetry recitations, screenings, etc. (Http://galwaylibrary.blogspot.com/2010/07/communicating-europe-initiative-begins.html http://www.bafflepoetry.org/news/28jun10_b.php)
 

The librarian wanted to place emphasis on modern Greek literature and music, from the generation of 1930's onwards. How nice, I thought, Ritsos, Seferis, Elytis and many others ...
 

The proposal was quite intriguing: Cherry-picking culture condensates in the field of poetry set to music. Very interesting as it combines literature / poetry, music, composer / singer, and with a video on youtube also picture / background.

Some of the proposals that I made and some others that I found worth viewing follow:

The event indeed took place, nevertheless the duration of this journey was prolonged for some more time. What was shown and what was read from all this wealth of our literature I never found out, as due to illness I was unable to attend, I might find out at the end of September when a repeat of the event is alleged to happen.

It doesn't really matter though, provided the way back to Ithaca is a long one...
